We are One Big Family

Illustration | May 2009

Creating a poster series with 'Heal the World' as its theme. It has to talk more into peace than go green things. My concept is 'We are One Big Family'. Whoever we are, wherever we are, we are one big family of the Earth no matter what.

Tools : Hand drawn, mix media on water colour paper

Typo Poster : Cubism

Typography | June 2009

Typography class project to make a set of typeface based on one art movement. I chose cubism as the movement and did research to understand it well before make the typeface. In cubism, the subject matter is broken up, analyzed, and reassembled in an abstracted form. That's the reason why there are a lot of parts to create a single letter. We also have to make a quote poster of the artist from the movement, I chose Pablo Picasso saying "I paint things as I think them, not as I see them".

Tools : Hand drawn, color pencil, Adobe Photoshop
