Typo Poster : Cubism
Typography | June 2009
Typography class project to make a set of typeface based on one art movement. I chose cubism as the movement and did research to understand it well before make the typeface. In cubism, the subject matter is broken up, analyzed, and reassembled in an abstracted form. That's the reason why there are a lot of parts to create a single letter. We also have to make a quote poster of the artist from the movement, I chose Pablo Picasso saying "I paint things as I think them, not as I see them".
Tools : Hand drawn, color pencil, Adobe Photoshop
Typobook : Playing With Dingbats
Typography | June 2009
Typography class project to make one book related to the subject. I chose to make one book about dingbats and its usage. The reason is because it's also the family of typefaces but we rarely see any book about this little-but-actually-useful thing. Inside the book, you may see the DIY to use dingbats in simple design like your personal birthday invitation.
Tools : Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
